Misc02 - Trolly Dollies
In the markets down in Spain
Shopping doesn't cause them pain
Loads of veg and lots of fruit
All of it just right - to suit
Mercados big make Spaniards jolly
They're always with their shopping trolley
Men and women - all the same
Synchronised wheeling is their game.
Some visitors they like to be
Just like the locals that they see
So off to 'Todo' where they find
Trolleys plenty, neatly lined
On the pavement, by the door
Who could ever ask for more?
They leap with joy, and trolleys buy
Then off they wheel - contented sigh.
But being law-abiding Brits
Not long before they're having fits
What rules, what regulations might
Be needed? - oh, heck! what a fright!
Safety regs extend so far
('Praps shopping bag as well as car?)
So Trolley Dollies load their packets
And don their own fluorescent jackets!
