Welcome to the Fruitbat Guestbook

With regret, our guestbook is currently unavailable for new entries owing to the huge volumes of spam being dealt with by our wwwebmaster on a weekly basis. We will be back with you asap. Meanwhile, please email our webmaster Ken (see Contact Page) if you wish to leave a message. Much love ...

Hey Frooty ones, what's with this lack of information then. You suddenly stopped in France, then nothing (and we know that you're back in the UK 'cause we've seen your bus!). So, what gives?!

Fruitbats Reply: Well, you know how it is - the best laid plans an all! And what with catching up with family and friends, our web master going on his hols, etc, etc, But we will be coming up to speed again soon, honest. Just watch this space ...

Hello Fruitbats - your website is inspiring. We have been fulltiming now since May (in yUK) but are off to France and Spain and maybe more for the winter. Maybe catch up with you one day!

Fruitbats Reply: Good to hear from fellow travellers. We'll soon be heading back to Spain for the winter down around the Orgiva area. Give us a shout if you get down that far.

I'd like you to meet Gavin, buthow do I attach a photo of this beauiful young Canadian miniature Dachshund? He's called Gavin because when he was with his (alergic) French Canadian family, they called him "Gamine" - but then he moved to some Irish Canadians(to whom I am closely related) and they changed it to "Gavin". They already had a "Kevin" (he's a two legged person). Gavin? A Dachsund called Gavin? Only in ...
Sorry. No photo. You'll have to imagine him. But I promise you children, he is real, and he is realy beautiful..
Best wishes from (immobile, although they are selling vans at the Dell in Peacehaven) Sunny Sussex by the Sea

Despite our very best endeavours to have you all closed down, we note that this bizarre website is still operational. Which, alarmingly, means that somewhere out there, on a Caravan Site near you, are some very very odd Fruitbats. Did you know, they don't even put the regulation red fire bucket outside their unit? It's a disgrace, and we shall be reporting to the Rrrrrrally Secretary forthwith. You have been warned.

Fruitbats Reply: Ooooh-err, Ken, they're still on our case!

Well all you dedicated followers of Fruitbats - the guestbook is back! Sorry for the delay but the database got corrupted by someone leaving a nasty message (nobody associated with our friendly fruitbat fraternity of course). I'm just pleased to get George and Mabel Trouser off me back!!!

We have lost a few messages and some smileys, but hey, the sun is shining. Please do get back to leaving us your great messages ... Ken
